List of Artworks by Lucie Lapointe

Born in 1956 and still resident of Jonquière to Quebec, Lucie Lapointe improved her art by painting with great Quebec names, including Jean-Paul Lapointe and Marcel Fecteau. She has used oils and acrylics since her first solo exhibition going back to 1990; from that moment, she took part in several symposiums, group and solo exhibitions throughout Quebec and she was the object of many honours, including the Foire des Artistes Alcan Jury first prize in 1991 and the Concours régional des Arts visuels in 1995. In 1998, she was named honorary president of the Symposium d'Anse-St-Jean, Petit-Saguenay. She was offered the honour again in 2002 for the Arts de la Rue de Danville symposium. Her works are found in several corporate and unique collections in Canada, Europe and in the United States, including Alcan, the Caisse de Dépôt du Québec, the National Bank, Samsom Bélair-Deloitte & Touche, Essaim pharmacies and the City of Jonquière. Brian Mulroney, former Prime Minister of Canada, Claude Béland, former president of the Caisses populaires Desjardins and John Ciaccia, former Minister for International Affairs, also have some of her canvasses.
