ARTIST
Ginette Racette was born in Saint-Augustin of Portneuf in Quebec, Canada, in 1950. She has studied at the ĞAcademie of Fine Arts Silvia Arayağ and she has participated at many drawing sessions with models. With her natural taste for drawing, she has decided to use oil painting after she had worked many years with pastel, a medium she is always fond of today. Later, when the contact with paintbrushes missed her, she discover acrylic painting which become her second passion. The career of Ginette Racette is in constant evolution thank to her dedication and to her always renewed search for perfection. She is fascinated by street scenes in cities or countries and she loves to add peoples in her paintings.
