ARTIST

Colette Boivin was born in Jonquiere, Province of Quebec, Canada, on March 19, 1956. After several years of school in Quebec, she lived in Paris from 1975 to 1979 where she studied at the «Ecole des Beaux-Arts», mostly interested then by engraving and drawing. Since her return in Canada, she devotes herself exclusively to painting. She now lives in Quebec where she shares her life between her art and her little daughter Sarah. Her work is caracterized by imagination and intimacy. She paints, through women, inner feelings shared in an atmosphere of confidence.
