1928 - 2003 The art of Marcel Delorme is concentrated firstly on his search for light and strong contrasts are utilised to attain this goal. The artist's unique technique is caracterized by the handling of the painting knife and by his most peculiar palette. By basically using only three primary colors, the artist exploits them in creating an unending range of colors. Marcel Delorme has painted during his last forty years. He was spontaneous in his approach and he could execute a canvas rapidly once the whole concept was in his head. His colors are never dry and the utilisation of the painting knife creates the richests of fondus. The spontaneous movement and his use of masses in continued play of clair/obscur clearly defines this artist in expressing our beautiful nature in his unique way.
