Marie Versailles Choquet was born in Montreal in 1936. She has growned in Chambly on the banks of the Richelieu river. After being introduced to graphic arts at the convent, she undertook studies at the École des Beaux-Arts in Montreal and Concordia University. Then she travelled in Europe where she painted intensely. Using all the mediums, oil, acrylic, pastel, gouache, she let her rich and profuse inspiration free to come out.
Marie Versailles Choquet has exhibited since the last thirty years; she designed the cover of novels, gave lectures and get interviewed on television talk-show.
