ARTIST
Jean-Yves Guindon was born in Buckingham (Quebec, Canada) in 1949. After having drawn since his childhood, he discovered watercolour at the age of thirty-five and he immediately left an executive job with the government to pursue his passion. In 1985, he opened his own art studio in Gatineau. Successfull and wishing to devote as much time as possible to watercolour, he moved his family in the Outaouais Valley, where he set up his studio but he still runs the galery in Gatineau. «My watercolours paintings are almost magical.
