ARTIST

Born in May 7, 1930, in St.Honoré of Chicoutimi (Quebec, Canada), Marcelle Bouchard has been a fashion model, a teacher, an accountant. She became a self-taught artist at the age of fifty when she began to paint for her own pleasure. Her art can be classified as ingenious, naïve. She expresses her moods on the canvases, like a young child, a free spirit. She has painted different moments her country's history, political events, seasons and life, in general.
