List of Artworks by Marie-Claude Demers
Born in Drummondville in 1970, Marie-Claude Demers is a Psychology graduate from the University of Quebec in Trois-Rivieres. Naturally, her talent led her to illustrated children's stories, but her innate attraction to drawing came out as she took part in various oil painting workshops in the early 1990s. Since then, her art has flown out the doors of many exhibitions, symposiums, festivals and conferences mainly presented in Quebec. She also showed in Mexico, where she trained in bronze work in Guadalajara in 2002, and in Barcelona, Spain, where she was featured on a Television show in 2002. Marie-Claude Demers got a scholarship from the Canada Council for the Arts in 1998, and is responsible for marketing and design in a dried fruits and cosmetics company.
