Buying1934-2008 Claude Theberge's career is a clear example of how one day follows the other and how this can lead to an unpredictable future. This Canadian, successfully completed his studies at Quebec's School of Fine Arts. He also gained a bursary from the Arts Council of Canada and the Government of Quebec. In France he was able to attend the finest institutes dedicated to fine arts and decorative arts. He won first prize in a competition sponsored by the United Nations amongst 65,000 candidates . He lived both in Paris and Montreal progressively exploring abstract and figurative art. He created murals, glass works and sculptures which are located in public places and some of his paintings can be found amongst prestigious collections such as l'Aérospatiale, France; l'Oréal/Lancôme; Museum of Contemporary Art, Montreal; Royal British Columbia Museum; Toronto World Trade Centre; First Canadian National Bank; Esso, Canada; The Kennedy Collection, USA. Over the years Théberge participated in artistic exhibitions held in Paris, London, Copenaghen, Berlin, Madrid, Moscow, Tokyo, Chicago and others.
