Guy Paquet

Guy Paquet is born in Quebec, Canada, in 1949. He devotes himself to painting along with a sporty life in which nature has a very important place. The silence and deepness of his endlessly horizons, his personal way to make us feel space is soon appreciated by the public and the critics. At the time of a notorious article in the Guy Robert «History of Painting in Quebec», the painter has not yet thirty years and his admiration goes to the great master Jean-Paul Lemieux... Since then, he polishes up his art using this personal and magical realistic touch. He has exhibited in many important art galleries from Montreal to Paris, including Baie-Saint-Paul in the Charlevoix region where everything began when he has exhibited the «glider» at the Symposium in 1982. And the Guy Paquet's Magic is always spreading.
