Ginette Paquette
Born in Montreal in 1956, Ginette Paquette has lived in Mirabel, Quebec since 1996. As a child, she had a passion for drawing and portraiture which drove her to become a self-taught painter-artist. To fulfill her passion for painting, she obtained a diploma from the Academy of Graphic Design and the Academy of Fashion. For a few years, she worked in the education and game sectors as an illustrator for children, and was subsequently contacted by international sports and fashion companies. She has completed various portraits and caricatures. Overall, her figurative productions unite the imaginary world with realism. Ginette Paquette has received various prizes and recognitions as a result of her personal and group art exhibitions. Her works can be found in a multitude of private and public collections in Canada and around the globe.
